Everglades Adventure Safari

$115

We start our adventure with an exciting Airboat Ride at Everglades Safari Park. The Park was recently acquired by the National Park Service and is now part of the Everglades National Park system operated by knowledgeable park rangers. Lunch following our ride will be right there in the Everglades. Next we’re off for our two-hour TramTour through the Shark Valley section of the Everglades. Park naturalists escort and narrate all tours, and besides giving insight into the ecosystem as a whole, our naturalist will point out “hidden” aspects of the Everglades that help make this a world-renowned wetlands. The open vehicles used on the tram tours allow wildlife viewing within the sawgrass prairies on either side of the tram. At the halfway point of our tour, a 45-foot high observation deck provides the opportunity to enjoy the tranquil vistas of the Everglades, which extend outward 20 miles in all directions. Be sure to bring your cameras. A gradually sloped ramp provides easy access to the observation tower deck. Comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen are recommended.
