Key West - Another Trip to Paradise
$1055 pp/dbl | $1355 pp/sgl | Insurance $82 pp
We’re Staying Right in Key West - So Join Us for Another Awesome Adventure in Paradise!
The Island of Key West, also known as the Conch Republic, is the southernmost point in the continental United States. Located closer to Cuba than to Miami, Key West is Florida’s irreverent southernmost subtropical paradise. Palm-lined streets with gingerbread mansions and tin-roofed conch houses were home to Ernest Hemingway, Tennessee Williams, Calvin Cline, Elizabeth Bishop, Robert Frost and Jimmy Buffett, a few of the famous people who discovered the island city whose Bahamian and Cuban heritage in large part was inspired by Bahamian wreckers, commercial fishermen, spongers and Cuban cigar makers.
Discover modern art treasures by Key West’s artists among dozens of galleries by day, and then become part of the sensational sunset celebration held each evening at Mallory Square, when tightrope walkers, jugglers and animal acts perform before the fiery sun settling into the Gulf of Mexico. As night settles, the streets, lined with sidewalk cafes, open-air bars, legendary pubs and world-class restaurants, come alive.Itinerary
Important Information: Motor Coaches are no longer permitted to enter the Key West historic district. The Key West transit system runs 7 days a week from 6:00 am to Midnight. The Duval Loop runs every (30 minutes (6am to 10am and every 15 minutes 10am to Midnight.)
The bus, known as the Duval Loop, connects with the Keys Shuttle. The shuttle stop is approximately 1 block from our hotel. Moderate walking is required on this trip. The public transit system is the only way to navigate Key West. Route maps will be provided.

Mt. Dora, Yalaha Bakery & Mission Inn
This day is a Terrific Three-fold Treat. Our first stop, Yalaha Bakery has been voted by social media followers as the No. 1 bakery in all of Central Florida. For those health nuts out there, this old-world German bakery offers gluten-free breads and pastries, as well as sugar free goodie made with completely organic ingredients. Some of the bakery's best sellers include the Bee Sting, which is two layers of yeast cake with Bavarian cream in the middle and sliced caramelized almonds on top. Yum! But save some of those goodies for later because we’re going to have a delicious lunch at the Mission Inn Resort & Club’s beautiful La Hacienda restaurant in Howey-in-th-Hills, Florida. Haven’t heard of it? Never been there? You’re in for a delicious bountiful barbecue buffet - including a dessert bar! After our lovely, leisurely lunch we’re going to walk off that delectable dinner in quaint, historic Mount Dora. The City of Mount Dora is truly 'Someplace Special: A charming, one-hundred plus year old historic village in the heart of Central Florida on the shores of beautiful Lake Dora in the Harris Chain of Lakes. There will be plenty of time to shop, explore, browse or look for antiques in this charming town.
