RESERVATION, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATION POLICIES


Planning Your Trip

We encourage you to make your reservations at the earliest possible date. Only a limited number of people can be accommodated on our motor coaches. Additionally, payments for hotel reservations, tickets and other venues must be made months in advance.


Phone Reservations

To make your reservations by phone please call our office at ­888-­569­-6068 Monday through Thursday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. You may leave a message requesting a reservation for a particular trip – however ­ your reservation is not confirmed until a company representative returns your call and verifies that there is a seat available. You may pay for your reservation by Visa, MasterCard or Discover or you may send us a personal check within seven days of your call.


Online Reservations

For ease in registering, book your reservations online using Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Within minutes of signup you will receive an email confirming receipt of your reservation.


Casino Trips

Reservations for excursions to Isle of Capri, Coconut Creek or Hollywood Hard Rock casinos must be made by telephone or in person at the Magic Carpet Ride reservations office, ­866­-56-2­4424. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Checks are acceptable but they must arrive at our office at least one day prior to the scheduled trip.


Important: If you are unable to travel the day of the trip you must call our office 1-­866-­562-­4424 before the bus’s scheduled time of departure and we will reschedule you for another date. No refunds will be given for cancellations after 12:00pm on the day prior to the trip. No Shows will not be rescheduled nor be eligible for a refund.


Day Trips

You are encouraged to register on line for your convenience, however if you prefer to register by phone or in person, payment in full by cash, check or credit card is required when when signing up. Motor coach and theater seating is assigned on a first paid – first seat basis. If you have travel partners you wish to sit with or be near, we recommend having everyone sign up at the same time otherwise we cannot guarantee adjoining seats.


Multi­-Day Tours

The specified deposit amount for each trip is payable within seven days of making your reservation by cash or check only. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended and is payable with your deposit. Visa, MasterCard or Discover may be used to pay the final balance. Final payments are due in our office as specified for each trip – usually 35 ­ 60 days prior to departure. Reservations made after the final payment date require full payment at the time of booking.


CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended for all extended tours. TravelSafe insurance is available through our office and must be paid with your deposit. In the event our agency cancels the trip you will receive a full refund of the amount you have paid including your insurance payment. We cannot guarantee insurance refunds if you purchase it outside of our agency.


If you find it necessary to cancel for any reason, you may resell or give the trip away yourself. If we have a waiting list we will try to find a replacement for you for a charge of 5% of the trip or a minimum fee of $25 per person. Insurance payments are not transferable.


OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS TO NOTE

Roommates

We strongly recommend purchase of cancellation insurance by both parties sharing a room. If both parties have purchased insurance and one or the other cancels, the increased costs for a single traveler are covered. However, if your roommate does not have cancellation insurance you may be required to pay the single traveler supplement and any increase in insurance coverage.


Payments by Mail

When mailing in your payments please write in the memo section, the name and date of the trip you are paying for and be sure your correct phone number and address are on each check in case we need to contact you.


Responsibility

Goodtime Getaways, Inc. assumes no responsibility for weather, injury,loss or damage to personal property, inconvenience, delay, or any additional costs incurred that are not included in the cost of the tour. Goodtime Getaways, Inc. reserves the right to change the itinerary at the discretion of the tour company, tour escort or hosting venues
