Listen for angelic choirs singing your favorite Christmas carols or musicians playing the classics on their violins. There will be plenty of food vendors selling treats of all kinds, or if you prefer, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of Mt. Dora’s great restaurants.

ICE! At the Gaylord - “How The Grinch Stole Christmas

ICE! Is back! This year, the signature holiday attraction features your favorite scenes from the beloved story, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas!”, brought to life in magnificent sculptures hand-carved from more than two million pounds of ice. Blue parkas will be provided but please bring hat, gloves and wear closed toe shoes as the temperature will be a nippy 9 degrees!
We will have reserved premium seating for the 1:00 pm showing of The Cirque Show which will feature dazzling acrobatics, feats of flexibility, and high-flying stunts. Theme for this year’s Cirque show is the “Spirit of Christmas.” This Broadway-style spectacle centers around Noel, a child dismayed and distressed by the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Trying to recapture her lost love of the season, Noel is visited by spirits who bring back the true meaning of the season in energetic, dreamlike chapters.
There are several places within the hotel to get lunch, snacks, coffee, hot chocolate & speciality beverages.
Dinner is included and will be at 5:30 pm at Buca di Beppo.

When it was completed in 1902, the New York Herald proclaimed that Whitehall, Henry Flagler's Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was "more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world." Today, Whitehall is a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as the Flagler Museum.
Each year during the winter holiday season, Whitehall's first floor is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with historically accurate greenery, trimmings, and ribbons. The focal point is a 16-foot-tall Christmas Tree in the Grand Hall, adorned with colored electrical "fairy" lights and traditional Gilded Age-style ornaments. The home's exterior as well as the historic front gate are also decorated with festive wreaths, ribbons, and greenery.
Located at the base of the historic Harriet Himmel Theater in Rosemary Square, Il Bellagio captures the experience of dining in an authentic Italian “piazza.” Directly facing the spectacular Water Pavilion West Palm and The Wishing Tree, the restaurant serves delicious Italian cuisine in a casual and vibrant atmosphere. Contemporary interior design is highlighted by a back lit honey gold onyx bar with rich wood tones and a copper weave ceiling. The dining room features layered marble columns, a porcelain tile floor with wood grain inlays and custom made wall sconces and pendant LED lights.

St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights is the local winter holiday celebration where each historic downtown business and many residents participate by lighting up their buildings. Inspired by an ancient holiday practice brought here by the Spanish of displaying lit candles on window sills. The Annual Night of Lights is set to brighten up the holidays in The Ancient City once again! To experience the glow of the season and the more than three million sparkling white lights adorning every corner of the city, stretching for nearly 20 blocks. We will enjoy the experience on the old Old Town Trolley’s Night of Lights tour! This tour is a holiday tradition for locals and visitors alike and is sure to become one of your favorite holiday memories. This delightful trip includes Night of Lights Trolley Tour, plated dinner at the Columbia Restaurant, shopping at the Outlets Mall, lunch at Dixie Crossroads and transportation provided by Magic Carpet Ride Motorcoach.

Stetson Mansion Christmas & Lunch

Tripadvisor has named the Stetson Mansion the top rated landmark attraction in all of Florida. Florida’s First Luxury estate, the Mansion is the largest, grandest, and most historic home ever built in Florida before the 20th century. This Gilded Age estate is not a museum or a home frozen in time, although it predates all other grand mansion museums in Florida. This is still a private estate. The home of Florida’s first snow bird and famous hat baron was hidden and lost for 100 years. Its new owners have rescued, restored and updated in a timeless fashion. Tours this time of year are all about the meaning of Christmas. Each year 10 rooms in the mansion are embellished with new elaborate designer decorations and 24 nativities from around the world. Decorations are new and different each year. The Mansion had one of the first Christmas trees ever illuminated with electric lights. That’s what you get when Thomas Edison is your BFF! Along with the escorted tour and transportation, lunch is included.
